Letters take about 3-4 weeks to arrive in Madagascar. Make sure to number your pages and letters, and include "Airmail" and "Par Avion" on everything you send. Packages take about 6-9 weeks by airmail. It's a good idea to keep packages small, and to use a padded envelope when possible so that it will be treated as a letter.
